This installation uses materials such as rust, stapler technique, plastic fabric, salt, sugar, latex, colored scotch tape, and metal wire on fabric to express a need for control over the body and reclaiming physical autonomy. The rough and fragile nature of these materials reflects the ongoing crises in Lebanon—particularly the waste crisis and widespread political corruption—which continue to affect people’s daily lives and well-being. This breakdown of basic systems creates both physical and emotional stress that is deeply felt in the body.
